Andie Grace

Andie Grace (previously Hannah Andrews) started her dance and music journey at a young age with highland dance and tenor drum at the age of 8. As the youngest member of the Canberra Celtic Pipe Band at the time, many adult members would offer to carry her drum after a 5km parade; her tagline, "I'll do it myself". Andie loved being able to dance and compete in a sport that didn't separate the girls from the boys. After moving to Perth in 2006, Andie took up ballet, jazz and contemporary, even adding tap a few years later. Focussing mainly on ballet, Andie successfully completed exams through SCSA and ATOD, including pointe work. In 2021, Andie completed her final ballet exam through ATOD, receiving the highest grade of a mature-aged student. Andie's dance career has also included several productions, performances, and parades, with the highlight being a soloing member of the ballet troupe of Stray Cats Theatre Company's production of Phantom of the Opera. In 2017, Andie picked up highland dancing again as an adult, competing in her first competition later that year.

A bit of a science nerd, Andie completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Criminology in 2019 to continue on to her Master of Forensic Science in 2021. On the days Andie's not studying or dancing, she keeps herself busy by running a music studio and community orchestra, and teaching at a number of schools in the area. If she's not in the dance studio, you'll find her in the music studio or in front of a microscope.
